The MTG Community - Introducing The MTG Urban Dictionary! [Edward Eng - Battlemage, Level 41]
I remember back in the day when I was a kid, there were some people who really loved creating Magic slang. One person that comes to mind is Aaron Souders. I remember him yelling out "SERVICE!" as he attacked his opponents. It was great.
Now that I'm back in the game again after a 10 years hiatus, I've noticed that the Magic slang phenomenon hasn't changed. And as a matter of fact, it seems to have grown in popularity. And that's awesome!
So today I'd like to introduce Galactic Treasures's MTG Urban Dictionary. It's kinda like the current Urban Dictionary but focused on Magic.
The first word I'd like to feature from The MTG Urban Dictionary is...
----------------------------------------
1. An unfortunate occurrence.
Billy: I was gonna win next turn, but I was at 2 and he topdecked a Bolt.
Chelsea: What a ranching!
----------------------------------------
I'm looking forward to growing The MTG Urban Dictionary as the game continues to become more and more popular.
In the meantime, let me know what your favorite Magic slang is. Hit me up in the comments below or on social media.
Peace, love, and have fun…
